As standard, the 911 Carrera 4 GTS comes fitted with a six-speed manual transmission, and the Coupe model sprints from 0-62 mph in 4.6 seconds, the Cabriolet is slightly slower at 4.8 seconds. However if you tick the box for the optional Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) seven-speed double-clutch transmission, an additional 0.2 seconds can be trimmed respectively from these acceleration times. In the looks department, the 2011 Carrera 4 GTS differs slightly from earlier variants with rear-wheel drive. In addition to the "Carrera 4 GTS" badges on the doors and rear lid, the distinguishing characteristic of all models with all-wheel drive is the additional reflective stripe between the tail lights. Additional styling enhancements include the Porsche Sport-Design front apron with black painted spoiler lip and special side skirts – also finished in black. Inside, the sports seats are trimmed in black, with Alcantara suede on the seat centre panels, steering wheel rim, gearshift and handbrake lever.
