Chocolate, wine, and food have long been valuable tools for the art of seduction and Valentine's Day. This Valentine's Day, show your sweetheart how much you care by creating a romantic home-cooked meal.
First, set the mood:
Dim the lights have lots of candles. Maybe a few rose petals sprinkled through out. Burn a CD or create a play list on your iPod of your favorite songs.
Table for 2:
Bust out the fine china and glassware.
The food:
The way to the heart is through the stomach. Here is a quick and easy menu for those who don’t want to slave away all day in the kitchen.
First Course: Mixed baby greens with fresh raspberries, and warm goat cheese
Main Course: Penne with vodka cream sauce (my favorite version comes from Rachel Ray’s 30 minute meals)
Dessert: Definitely Fondue with fresh berries, and pound cake
Don’t forget a nice bottle of wine and/or champagne to cap off the evening.
