Pre-Christmas Snow Storm Blankets Region
The Philadelphia region is being hit hard with the first major snowfall of the season. The storm rolled in on the last shopping weekend before the Christmas holiday. The National Weather Service says some areas of the region could see up to 18-inches of snow from early Saturday until Sunday. A winter storm warning is in effect through 6 a.m. Sunday, when the heaviest snowfall is expected. A snow emergency has been issued in Philadelphia. All vehicles parked on Snow Emergency Routes must be moved to an alternate parking locations. READ MORE
