Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty is the name of the upcoming solo album from Outkast member Big Boi. Recording for the album was aimed to be finished in August. In a 2007 interview with Vibe, Big Boi revealed some details about the new album. It is planned to be 16 tracks with the production handled by Organized Noize, Boom Boom Room Productions, Scott Storch, and Lil' Jon, every track co-produced by Big Boi. Unlike Speakerboxxx/The Love Below, his album and Andre 3000’s own solo album will be sold separately. It is intended that Outkast begin work on a new album once their solo albums are both released. On July 17 2009, Big Boi revealed in an interview with Eye Weekly that he was leaving LaFace/Jive and signing to Def Jam, where the album will finally be released. It was later revealed that Big Boi had worked out a deal with Jive and would release his long-awaited solo project there. READ MORE
