Woman in Yemen arrested for allegedly sending mail bombs to US synagogues
A suspect was arrested Saturday by Yemeni authorities for sending the two air mail bombs discovered on cargo planes and intended for synagogues in Chicago. The woman was taken into custody after security forces surrounded a home in Yemen where she was staying in the aftermath of the foiled terror plot, The Associated Press reported. President Ali Abdullah Saleh said authorities had identified the suspect and the house where she was staying. The bombs were found on cargo planes in Dubai and the United Kingdom.
