In the U.S. complaint, Samsung accuses Apple of violating patents that "relate to fundamental innovations that increase mobile device reliability, efficiency, and quality, and improve user interface in mobile handsets and other products.

Yeah, the whole 2G = 2nd Generation thing is getting old. Most people with any sense can discern 2G from 2GB, but that's assuming that most people have any sense, which sadly isn't the case.
(I don't get it; when people say they have a 120 Gigabyte Hard Drive in their computer, they always say "120GB," not "120G." So why get confused at "2G iPod?" It's simply confounding!)
Even with clarification, people still foul it up. I concur with recommending to referring to it as the G2 Shuffle, or even "new iPod shuffle" as Apple refers to it on their site.
I'd recommend naming it "clippy" but well... that would just start a whole new debacle!

Except that the question "male to male sex" is discriminatory. It doesn't ask you "received anal sex", it asks you about your sexual orientation. Plain and simple, discriminatory and non-scientific because male-to-female sex has the exact same risks.

Statistically, Male to Male sex increases that risk. Also, if it was a homophobic policy female to female sex would be deemed a risk factor, but it's not, as it does not carry elevated risk. Agreed. This doesn't sound correct. I have a corporate discount and added the feature. I still have the discount.
When this initially was announced and after holding for a long time while the rep checked, ATT told me verbally that the dicounted $29.95/450 min plan would go to regular $39.95 regular price if I wanted the unlimited mobile to mobile with unlimited texting but it in fact wasn't the case. I was able to do it online. The first day or so of the promotion the site was giving me an error whenI tried to make the change but I was able to do it on day 2 or 3. I verified earlier today that my discount rate was still in tact and I had the unLim Mob to Mob.

iOS for iphone is an exclusive smartphone OS. Or are you telling me that ipod touch and ipad run the same exact OS?
Laptops and desktops run the same exact OS. There are no apps that are made specifically for a laptop or desktop. There are iphone apps that wont run on an ipod touch. There are ipad apps that wont run on an ipod touch or an iphone. If they were the same OS then that wouldnt happen.
Because it's common sense.

It's all iOS. Unless you're saying that xp home and xp professional and win 7 home and win 7 professional should all be counted separately.
And let's not even get into the absolute mess that your arbitrary definition would turn android into.

The iOS ecosystem is more mature than the Android system, and for that I am very happy for being on the iOS bandwagon.
Android doesn't have an ecosystem. The only thing that's close to have a full ecosystem is MS but even that lacks in a lot of major areas. So does apple's though in terms of mail/calendar/contact and sync in general. [MobileMe is NOT free. :|]
webOS seems pretty good but HP swears not to ship any product until the others swipe the market already. :rolleyes:

Thanks for the tips. Still, Lightscribe or Labelflash or equivalent would be a nice feature, especially in a notebook computer. If you're out and about with your notebook and you want to burn a disc, it'd be convenient to be able to just burn a few words on to the disc rather than bothering with printers, inks, labels, markers, etc.
Seems like a lot of hassle to avoid using a Sharpie...
