I've probably got the wrong end of the stick as usual, but I use the web access for iDisk that is already there - I haven't downloaded any applications at all for my work Windows laptop. Is this what you meant, or was there something else on top of this?Well kind of, but that's very limited. It doesn't support drag and drop, icon or column views, file previews, searching, .zip archiving and unarchiving, etc. In other words, all the goodies you get in a Finder window (including iDisk Finder windows). Using AJAX technologies, most of that should be possible, as they are doing for the Mail application. And as I said, making folders individually password-protectable (separate passwords, unlike now where it's one for the whole disk) is a priority for me.

So is this guy going to write to Steve Jobs every time he finds an iPad on eBay for $100 less than retail? How about 1� auctions?
If TJ Maxx got their hands on enough stock who the F cares and go pick one up if you want one! I'm personally waiting for Gen 2 with FaceTime.

I am all against this nostalgia gaming. U have so many great games available on the ipad or iphone that utilise their potencial, why would u wanr to play games that have 12 pixels running around? I think it has more to do with people remembering the "good old times" when they havent had all that depression, fear and insecurity going on.
There's nothing wrong with people remembering the "good old times". I don't know where everybody else was when these games were out, but I was a carefree little boy who played with his cousins in his grandfather's house when I first came upon the 2600.
Grandpa passed away a long time ago and his house (which I really thought was a mansion when I was little) has been torn down and in its place stands a condominium complex. But every time I fire up Combat, there I am sitting in a wicker chair in the guest room, on a hot summer day, playing against my cousin. My little brother is watching and saying "Me next! Me next!" and my grandma's about to walk in with lemonade and cookies.
Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Web designers will just have to become more sophisticated. They will have to learn to work with relative units. For example a button size should be specified as "m times the lenght of this string in the current user specified font" and a image size rather then being fixed might be "80% in the frames width as set by the user

What interface/app are you using to watch video and from what streaming source?
Give me specifics about codec and apps used and I can help you solve this issue no matter what video card you have.

Nah, it's probably just a mistake on apple's part (after all, i don't think this website has been officially released yet since we can't find links to it). I say that it is not photoshopped because i'm currently logged into .mac through the cited webpage. So yeah, it's real, otherwise i wouldn't be logged into .mac at the top.
