Hey, I'm trying to generate a sound that will match something from a song my band is covering. I have the sound set up just right except I need the it to oscillate faster. I want it to be at oscillating at about 178 bpm but I can't figure how to get it to work.
If I can't do it by tempo else can I do it?

You should be penalizing Apple for allowing this to happen. but instead you jump for joy.

Unfortunately there is these day not too much choice since you often don't know who is putting you on those lists - I found out about some due to typos in my unusual name that they had made in my subscriptions and I got junk in the good old paper mail to the 'wrong' name. But usually you don't know who sells your name and it is good if you have an option where you don't you are not put on stupid paper wasting junk lists. - FT does not need my name and/or address.

I just bought a new wireless keyboard from mac a few weeks ago and when i connect it to my imac (10.6) it works perfectly the first time but then each time after the down arrow continually presses down. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
I took it to get checked out and they ran diagnostics on the keyboard but could find nothing so I'm thinking it might be something to do with my computer.
Any help would be great!

The idea of paying $50 more makes some have a hissy fit while MOST are right to complain about it in a normal, reasonable way.
AT&T is obviously more than legally able to do this but it is obvious to anyone that they are doing it strictly to add more $ to their pockets. And the response to that will be that they are allowed to and that EVERYONE wants more money. Yes, and consumers are allowed to complain when companies do something STRICTLY to make them pay more.
There is really no reason for AT&T to do this other than to make consumers pay more. When AT&T does this, they should expect a backlash

Who doesn't even let you get any discount for any early upgrades so in that respect they are worse than AT&T. So how does having a hissy fit and going to Verizon help those people who are that upset they are going to Verizon?

I know the reason, or the supposed reason (who knows, Apple has been as tight lipped as ever on the issue) . If true, its a disgrace it made it to the keynote presentation, without the issue being identified or a reasonable fix found. I don't care how you square it - being 10 months late for a device who has an average life of 12 months is utter incompetence and hence disgraceful.
Hats off for Apple sticking to it, but that does not take away from the fact that they should never have made the promise w/o a better understanding of production issues. The iPhone 4 design has been around since at least January per spy shots of the iPad before release. So, its not as if the design was so new that they could claim there was no time to identify the issue until after the June 2010 keynote by Steve Jobs.
Once again you are proving that you know nothing about production issues.
There is a big difference between making a few samples to show and circulate and real en masse production.
There are also issues with white products that only show up after a certain amount of time.
White tends to have aluminum oxide pigments and in many cases light inhibitors. Depending on the material used there may have been a delayed photo mechanical reaction.
That especially, when several layers of white are used.
But I am only guessing, the real issues are only know to Apple.
You also know absolutely NOTHING about the real issues other than what people speculated.
For Apple to recognize it and NOT ship it, just because they showed it proves what a good company they are.
Whatever time it then took to fix it is unimportant.
If you would be for once logical you could see that in Apple's eyes there was a significant problem that took time to figure out.
If there wasn't it would have shipped already long time ago!

The controllers are really needed.
IMHO:
The Atari Joystick is the best video game controller of all time.
The trackball is a must for playing games like centipede or millipede.
And playing breakout or kaboom without a paddle controller is not the same.
As mentioned above the iCade has to include a trackball.
Trackball, jog-wheel, joystick, six face buttons and a button on each side for the pinball simulators. Hopefully all this and more for the iCade revisions and imitations to come.

Hey,
I have noticed my iphone 4 gets hot after recording for more than 2 mins, and it also heats up when taking pictures. However, it only heats up towards the right of the front speaker (it heats up on the front top right corner) on the phone. It heats up on the front, where the camera is situated directly beneath it. It is not unbearably hot. Anyone else have this problem? Is this normal?
