I'm pretty sure that whenever someone does something awesome and you hear someone say "oh, dude was in beast mode" he's referring to this show subconsciously.
This show was the equivalent to LOST for kids. My personal favorite episode was when the Maximals accidentally activated their protection shields from the outside and had to sneak past their own security system to deactive it.
