Helium Balloon In Colo. Lands, Boy Not Inside
An experimental helium balloon that was thought to have been carrying a six-year-old boy, believed to be Falcon Heene, descended into a Colorado field Thursday, but the boy was not found inside. It was assumed that the boy had taken off in the homemade helium balloon that looked somewhat like a flying saucer. Rescue crews surrounded the balloon as it came to a soft landing Thursday afternoon in a field after two hours thousands of feet floating rapidly through the air. After finding the balloon empty, officials are now searching for Heene. Homes in the boy's neighborhood were also being searched, according to CBS station KCNC-TV in Denver. READ MORE
