This is a neat guest book idea, that goes along with a vintage theme. I found this on Victoria with Roses blog, Victoria recently got married, and this was her guest book. Love it!
Their "guest book" was a vintage typewriter that instructed guests to write them a note to open on their 5th anniversary. They sealed notes in vintage airmail envelopes that had been decorated with vintage stamps, all thematically having to do with the groom or the bride (airplanes, writers, etc.). Envelopes were then placed in an old pencil case that had belonged to the bride's father, as a child.
