Inspiration: The Mediterranean

When you think of the Mediterranean, you picture the crystal-blue waters of the Greek Isles, the history and architecture of Italy, the romance of Spain, and the glamour of the French Riviera. There are so many ways to incorporate a Mediterranean theme into your event!

For the bride, a drapey chiffon gown will transform you into a Greek goddess, and have fun with your hair by working in braids. Lots of gold or bronze accessories will also complete an old-world look. The ideal venue would be an outdoor courtyard or a Spanish-style historical building, decorated with sheer white fabrics and string lights. For the menu, there are a lot of creative options: for cocktail hour, think about passed Spanish tapas, an antipasto bar, or do a wine and cheese tasting. Flan or creme brulee would make for delicious dessert offerings as well. Entertainment can range from simple and romantic with an acoustic solo guitarist, to more sultry and high-energy with Moroccan dancers!

In the end, your guests will thank you for bringing them along with you on a unique Mediterranean journey!
