With this outfit I thought that I would wear this skirt because it is such a pretty colour and is fairly bright, perfect for Monday mornings when I don't even feel like getting out of bed! I also love the plaid detail around the top of the skirt, it is like a belt, but prettier! I have been trying to not wear black lately but I find myself always turning back to this safe colour! I have no idea why! I guess it was cold today and I haven't got that many long sleeved shirts in my wardrobe so I had to go with this one! I think I will let myself off the hook, just this once.
I paired this outfit with these flats that I bought a couple of weeks ago! Very comfortable and pretty much go with everything I own, so an essential purchase! And of course, by now EVERYBODY knows that I love necklaces, I own way too many to count. This one is a particular favourite of mine, mainly because it looks like a pretzel.
