Last month one of my best friends tied the knot in Orlando. I was honored not only to be in the wedding but to help Lesley plan all the details as well. Lesley and Brad were married at Brad's brother's house, just outside of Orlando. It isn't always easy planning a wedding at a private residence, so I was glad when Lesley and Brad asked me to help out. I was with them every step of the way, from dress shopping to designing and putting together the wedding flowers. Lesley and Brad have great families, that helped every step of the way to ensure that the happy couple had the wedding of their dreams. Everything turned out so beautiful!!! We incorporated black , white and a hint of wine. It was very romantic: Orchids, roses and candles were placed throughout the house. A few special touches were present: Lesley carried a Mickey mouse charm on her bouquet(Lesley loves Disney), Brad is from Ohio, so we had a buckeye cake on the dessert table and the signature cocktail of the evening was a Bahama Mama made with Nassau Royale Rum (Lesley's family is from the Bahamas). After the ceremony, guests dined on a great array of heavy hors d' oeuvres, prepared by Lesley's mom. For favors, we had a candy and dessert bar, where guests could take their pick from buckeye cake, layer of love brownies and homemade marshmallows. Here are some pictures from their Big Day!!!
