Description: The French foreign minister has been checked by Israeli doctors after reportedly being hit on the head during a stormy visit to Gaza. Palestinian demonstrators mobbed Michele Alliot-Marie's car and at one point it was reportedly pelted with eggs and shoes. They were reacting to reports that she had said the capture by Hamas of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli soldier who is also a French national, was a war crime. Al Jazeera's Nicole Johnston reports.
