Teeheehee. :D The Schmoopies are now living in Maui after spending a month on Big Island. Our time on Big Island was pretty good overall, although not having decent internet over there posed as a problem, as did the construction. The day after we moved into our place, construction across the street began. Pretty much every day we were there (up until a few days before we left) there were loud tractors zooming around from 9 or 10 am to about 5 or 6 pm. We had no car and lived in the middle of nowhere, so it's not like we could escape the noise by heading to the beach or some park. We're still trying to figure out why the Universe presented us with all this noise...OoOoOoh our heads! :P Yeeeah, so after a month of loud construction, mosquitoes, coqui frogs, and hitching rides (due to the unreliable bus service on Big I) we wanted to find another location to live at. We were browsing the other islands' craigslist and came across a room to rent in a house with a 38 year old man and his son in Maui. He was asking for a pretty reasonable fee to rent out a room, so we called the guy up and right away got nothing but really good vibes! :) We also learned that the bus system in Maui is pretty efficient and reliable, and that his house ...
