Congratulations Laura and Travis! This past Sunday Laura and Travis got married at the beautiful Davis Islands Garden Club. The colors that Laura chose were persimmon and shades of blue. Her and Travis are scuba divers and love the underwater, so they went with a beautiful cake with a coral design. Her flowers were very tropical and gave that Caribbean feel to the wedding, which she wanted. She also chose a tropical buffet from Delectables to go along with her theme- complete with grilled shrimp, snapper, and yummy Bananas Foster, to name a few.
As UF alums, Travis and Laura's color scheme went very well with the Florida Gators, and Laura surprised Travis with a Gator ice sculpture and chocolate Gators as their favors- even the Florida Gator Mascots, Albert and Alberta, showed up themselves! This was a surprise from the groom's mother, a tradition in their family, where the mother of the groom surprises her son with something at the wedding- and were they ever surprised!
