This is a documentary being released by Magnolia Pictures on April 24th. It hasn’t been rated however the director is hoping it goes over well at the theaters and the box offices. Chris Malloy’s movie documentary touches the heart of Patagonias wilderness that seems to hit home to us. This documentary 180 degrees South follows Jeff Johnson as he literally gives account of his actions. However, along the way he wrecks his ship just off of the Easter Island, and has to surf the longest wave of his life. He also prepares himself for ascent of Cerro Corcovado. Things turn around for Jeff when he sees a rainy hut with Chouinard and Tompkins who, were at one point in time driven just by love in human nature. And a love of climbing and surfing. READ MORE
