Random Frost/Nixon

I finally got a chance to see Frost/Nixon last night...


First let me say, it was awesome! I'm a big fan of movies as it is, but when you throw in some politics with an emphasis on media coverage and interviewing I'm completely sold. Not to mention, Ron Howard is among the best filmmakers working right now and the fact that he was blessed with an awesome cast didn't hurt. Frank Langella (who almost doesn't look like Nixon) and Michael Sheen do a very good job or recreating a landmark event in American Political/Television history...



After his resignation in 1974, Nixon spent more than two years away from public life. In 1977, in an attempt to rehabilitate his image, he granted Frost an exclusive series of interviews. Nixon was already publishing memoirs at the time; however, his publicist Irving "Swifty" Lazar believed that by using television Nixon could reach a mass audience. READ MORE
