Fox CT Reporters Assaulted Outside Court
Two Fox CT journalists were assaulted by the husband of a woman who was at Superior Court on charges that she received stolen beer from Hartford Distributors shooter Omar Thornton, police said. Reporter George Colli and photographer Alan Chaniewski were hit with wasp and hornet spray about 9:45 a.m. Tuesday. Chaniewski was sprayed in the face, then rushed across the road to an Enfield firehouse for first aid. Colli was sprayed in the head and on his clothing. READ MORE
