Description: Chevrolet took the wraps off its 550 horsepower all new 2012 Camaro ZL1 at the Chicago Auto Show. The high performance Camaro will feature a magnetic ride control suspension, which can change damping nearly instantly, a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 and a six-speed manual transmission. "Camaro ZL1 is about high-tech performance and design, and is a type of car no one has ever brought to this segment previously," said Rick Scheidt, vice president of Chevrolet marketing in a news release. "It's the most technically advanced Camaro ever, so we've chosen a name from the most elite and exclusive Camaro in history." The name is derived from the ZL1 racing engine that was developed in the late 1960s.

Description: Check the video response below to see a car almost getting hit at the same crossing 2 months ago. Amtrak Train Hits Semi Truck at about 8:30 AM on January 12th 2011. Unfortunately the driver of the truck was killed. This happened at my regular spot in Dunkirk NY where I have done 100's of videos over the years. Local reports say many of the passengers took the train to avoid the huge snowstorm on the eastern seaboard, but had a long wait after this accident, about a 5 hour delay before heading to Buffalo. From the local newspaper: A Texas tractor-trailer driver died this morning at 8:30 after the rig he was driving hit a train carrying passengers on Middle Road in the city of Dunkirk. According to WDOE-AM, a 51 man from Shepherd, Texas, was struck by a passenger train. He was on his way to make a delivery to the Nestle Purina plant in the town. Shepherd is located 55 miles from Houston on the eastern side of the state of Texas. Dunkirk Police, Dunkirk Fire, the Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department and the New York State Police were all on the scene of the accident this morning. The train, which was part of an Amtrak passenger train, was damaged as well. There was no report of injuries to the passengers, however, the engine of the train was damaged in the accident. The train had 247 passengers.

The Audi Motorsport Department was established the following year and entered rally racing with the front-wheel drive Audi 80. The first quattro ran as a course car in the European Championship series race in Portugal in 1980. The Rally quattro used the same five-cylinder turbo as the pro-duction car; the two-valve power unit developed a hearty 230 kW (roughly 310 hp) from 2.1 liters of displacement and 1.6 bar of boost. Lightweight body components limited its weight to around 1200 kilograms (2645.55 lb), roughly 100 kilograms (220.46 lb) less than the production car. Depending on the final drive ratio, the Rally quattro accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62.14 mph) in around 5.2 seconds on a dry surface.
