2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1

Description: Chevrolet took the wraps off its 550 horsepower all new 2012 Camaro ZL1 at the Chicago Auto Show. The high performance Camaro will feature a magnetic ride control suspension, which can change damping nearly instantly, a 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 and a six-speed manual transmission. "Camaro ZL1 is about high-tech performance and design, and is a type of car no one has ever brought to this segment previously," said Rick Scheidt, vice president of Chevrolet marketing in a news release. "It's the most technically advanced Camaro ever, so we've chosen a name from the most elite and exclusive Camaro in history." The name is derived from the ZL1 racing engine that was developed in the late 1960s.

This is the first time that a crash-tested electric car has been displayed in public, and the results reflect a successful two-year development program between Volvo and Ener1 in both Europe and the US Jacoby also confirmed that a test fleet of C30 Electric cars will go on the road in the US in 2011 following recent announcements of fleets in Europe and Asia. The car on display in Detroit was tested at Volvo Cars' crash test laboratory in Sweden in December 2010 with a fully charged EnerDel lithium-ion battery and was subjected to a 40-mph offset frontal collision with a barrier. The test produced the results expected by the companies' engineers. The front deformed and distributed the crash and both the batteries and the cables, which are part of the electric system, remained intact after the collision. ecocar car : Electric Car Uses Bumps to Charge Battery
This strange looking car is an interesting concept designers, industrial Kim Jung Hoon was a record year for the 2010 Michelin Challenge Design competition. Unlike other electric cars, which is connected in particular in relation to the charging station or an extension cord, Eco-P has four piezoelectric devices to recharge the battery when the car is moving.
Kim thought the P-Eco, that the car is a lot of energy that can be collected and converted to lose. Whenever the vehicle is in motion, and vibration is reflective and could be used piezoelectric device to generate power that can recharge the battery. Piezo on both sides of each seat, this concept car can not be operated effectively without additional costs for electricity or gasoline.
Car, of course, the need for other energy sources, such as backup, especially if it is not used for some time. But it would be fairly easy to draw, and the batteries to charge only in the home network, and then keep moving car while on the road. Concept car : Volvo S60 2010
A few weeks ago we brought you the first hint of Volvo's new S60 concept car and here are the first images of the vehicle that will be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in early January 2009. The Concept gives an indication of what the all-new Volvo S60 will look like when it's launched in 2010. The coupe-inspired lines that gave the original S60 its characteristic stance are more pronounced in this next generation.
"The concept car's exterior gives a clear indication of what customers can expect of the all-new S60. On the inside we've been even more daring," says Volvo Cars Design Director, Steve Mattin.
The front of the S60 Concept sports the enlarged iron mark in the trapezoidal grille. The two lamps that flank the grille emphasize the vertical stance of the front, highlighting the hood's V-shape. The angled headlamps flow into the sculptured hood and, combined with the lower air intake's reverse trapezoidal shape, gives the concept car an expressive "face".
Viewed from the side, the concept's slim coupe roofline and windows are accompanied by an entirely new shoulder line, forming a gentle double wave from the headlamps to the rear. Both the seven-spoke 20" wheels and the tread of the low-profile tyres have been specially designed, while the bronze brake calipers match the `Warm Liquid Copper' paint on the car.
The unique rear parallelogram doors offer a spectacular show when opened or closed. Door opening is initiated by pressing a button and the movement starts in the traditional way. In the next phase, the forward section swings away from the body and the door glides parallel with the side of the car until it reaches its end position by the rear wheel.
