Rather than focusing efforts on the 283-horsepower, 3.6-liter Pentastar V6, the engineers at
2012 Dodge Avenger R/T have elected to fiddle with the suspension. Roll stiffness, strut damping and spring rates have been increased both front and rear, while the rear stabilizer bar has grown from 19-millimeters out to 21-millimeters.
