Laura and Matt were married in October. How they got together is actually a really sweet story! Matt was settled into his job in Orlando, enjoying his day to day routine, when Matt learned of a new person joining the Orlando office that he just HAD to meet! Their paths crossed, and after a first date their relationship blossomed. A few years later, this brings us to the big day! The Wedding and Reception was held at the Davis Islands Garden Club. We really had a great time coming up with the design for this wedding. The color palette Laura chose was cerise pink, green, black and white. For the flowers and decor, we had accents of horse tail, bamboo, raspberry dahlias and roses throughout. For dinner, we came up with a really yummy Asian inspired vegetarian menu: Lettuce wraps, dumplings, Lo Mein and Veggie stir-fry. The guests LOVED it. For favors, guests were treated to a scratch-off lottery ticket and a mustache photo op (Laura's friend Amber, makes them and sells them on Etsy: whiskerworks). You have to check them out! They are adorable and a great conversation piece for any type of event. The guests danced the night away until everyone boarded the water taxi to send Laura and Matt off in style.
